Walnut harvest in Iran’s Aleshtar

Farmers in the city of Aleshtar in Iran’s western province of Lorestan are currently engaged in the harvest of walnuts.

Aleshtar’s walnuts are famous for their high quality.  

In general, Iran’s climate is good for growing walnuts. The country is among the top five producers of the edible seeds.
